Kosciusko Leadership Academy Concludes Program Year With Entrepreneurship Session And Announces Project Proud

The Kosciusko Leadership Academy (KLA) concluded its 2025–26 program year this week with its final regular session, featuring a panel discussion, hosted by the Grace College School of Business, with local leaders Marlene Batances, EnPak founder and president; Lyle Schrock, The Lab founder and owner; and Dr. Michael Harstine, entrepreneur.

The panel focused on the entrepreneurial journeys behind their various businesses, offering cadets a candid look at how each leader got their start. Through personal stories, the speakers shared insights on taking risks, overcoming challenges and building successful organizations within Kosciusko County, according to a news release from KLA.
